Client reviews

In their own words

"My father left me his Omega when he passed, and after some years in a drawer I finally brought it here. Wattana assessed it carefully and was very clear about what could be done and at what cost. I chose the full restoration and the watch now runs well — more importantly, it still looks and feels like his. I would not have trusted it anywhere else."

"Brought in my daily Tudor for a routine service. The process was straightforward — clear assessment, agreed price, about ten days turnaround. The watch runs noticeably better. I appreciated that nobody tried to sell me extra work. A small thing but it makes a real difference. Would go back."

"I drive down from Bangkok when I need work done here. The workshop is calm, and Wattana explains things properly rather than talking past you. He serviced two of my vintage pieces this year. One needed a part that is no longer made — he fabricated it himself. That sort of capability is genuinely hard to find in Thailand."

"My grandmother's gold watch needed the dial cleaned and the hands replaced. I was nervous about losing the aged look. Wattana took time to explain what was possible and what would change. In the end we agreed on a light clean only, and I left very happy with the result. It was refreshed without being ruined."

"I had a pocket watch from my uncle restored here. The restoration took about six weeks, which I thought was reasonable given the complexity — Wattana had to source some period-appropriate parts. Communication throughout was good; he messaged when there was news and answered my questions promptly. The watch now keeps time."

"Very glad I found this place. My Seiko 5 needed a basic service and the case was scratched. The service was done well, and the case looks much better — though the watchmaker checked with me first about how much polishing to do, which I appreciated. Small workshop, personal attention. Refreshing."

A closer look

Three watches, three stories

Challenge

A 1960s Longines pocket watch, completely stopped

Inherited from a great-uncle. Movement had been dry for decades, pivot pivot worn, and the mainspring had set. Replacement parts not commercially available.

Approach

Full movement disassembly, cleaning, and assessment. New mainspring fitted. Two worn pivots turned down and bushed. Written plan agreed before proceeding. Dial conserved, not cleaned, at owner's request. Took eight weeks from assessment.

Outcome

Watch now runs at ±15 seconds/day from fully wound. Original dial and case patina preserved. Owner chose to display the watch in a case rather than wear it daily — the restoration made this possible.

"I was not sure it was possible. It was."

Challenge

Rolex Datejust, running but noticeably slow

A daily-wear watch losing around two minutes per day. Last serviced five years prior. Owner wanted minimum intervention if possible.

Approach

Full service: disassembly, ultrasonic clean, fresh lubrication, and timing regulation. No parts replaced — movement was in good condition beyond oil degradation. Completed within two weeks.

Outcome

Watch now regulated to +4 seconds/day across five positions. Owner reported no issues at six-month follow-up. Service cost: ฿4,400.

"Simple process, good result. No fuss."

Challenge

1950s lady's dress watch, sentimental but cosmetically worn

Movement was running. The case was scuffed, and the hands had lost their finish. Owner unsure whether to restore or preserve as-found.

Approach

Dial, hand and case refresh service. Discussed in detail what each option would look like before proceeding. Owner chose to replace the hands (sourced period-appropriate) and light brush on the case only, leaving the dial untouched.

Outcome

Watch now worn regularly by the owner's daughter. Cost: ฿8,800 including sourced hands. Owner specifically mentioned that no work was done without clear agreement first.

"He asked before he did anything. That mattered to me."
